Rothschild agents begin fomenting a series of pogroms predominantly in Russia, but also in Poland, Bulgaria and Romania. These pogroms resulted in the slaughter of thousands of innocent Jews, causing approximately 2 million to flee, mainly to New York, but also to Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston and Los Angeles.
The reason these pogroms were initiated, was to create a large Jewish base in America, who when they arrived, would be educated to register as Democrat voters. Some twenty years later, this would result in a massive Democratic power base in the United States and be used to elect Rothschild front men such as Woodrow Wilson to the Presidency
James Garfield is elected President of the United States, which worries the money changers because as a Congressman, he had been Chairman of the Appropriations Committee and was a member of Banking and Currency. The money changers are therefore aware that President Garfield is in full knowledge of their scam on the American people. Following his inauguration, President Garfield states, “Whoever controls the volume of money in our country is absolute master of all industry and commerce…and when you realize that the entire system is very easily controlled, one way or another, by a few powerful men at the top, you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate.”
Weeks after making this statement, President Garfield is assassinated.

The U.S. Congress outlaws Polygamy
After 6,000 feet of tunnel in the channel tunnel project being excavated, the British government halt the project citing the fact that it would be a threat to Britain’s security.
King Leopold II of Belgium sends General Henry Sanford, a former US Ambassador to Belgium under Lincoln, to lobby Congress and US officials to recognize the International Association of the Congo.
On December 4, President Arthur sends a message to Congress: “The objectives of the society are philanthropic. It does not aim at permanent political control, but seeks the neutrality of the valley. The United States cannot be indifferent to this work, nor to the interests of their citizens involved in it...It may become advisable for us to cooperate with other commercial powers: protecting the rights of trade and residence in the Kongo valley free from interference or political control of any one nation.
April 10, 1884, the US Senate votes in favor of recognizing the International Association of the Congo. The senate resolution, introduced by Senator John Tyler Morgan of Alabama, is followed by the publishing of a thousand copies of a report on the Congo. Attributed to Morgan, the document was written primarily by Sanford, who lobbied for the bill on behalf of Belgian King Leopold II. Sanford asserts in the report “that no barbarous people have ever so readily adopted the fostering care of benevolent enterprise as have the tribes of the Congo, and never was there a more honest and practical effort to ... secure their welfare.”
On April 22, US Secretary of State Frederick Frelinghuysen issues a letter recognizing “the flag of the International African Association [he meant the International Association of the Congo] as the flag of a friendly government.”
On October 22, 1884 The Daily Telegraph says that the International Association of the Congo’s work is being led by “knit adventurers, traders, and missionaries of many races ... under the most illustrious modern travelers.”
December 1884 Campaigning to win recognition of the “Congo Free State,” King Leopold II of Belgium assures the United States there will be “complete freedom from duties on all American goods exported to the Congo.”
At age 18, Paul Warburg begins his banking career in London, followed by career moves to France, India, China and Japan before returning home to become a partner in the family banking firm, M.M. Waburg & Co.
The French Rothschild bank, de Rothschild Frères obtains substantial amounts of Russia's oil fields and forms the Caspian and Black Sea Petroleum Company, which quickly becomes the world's second largest oil producer.
Opium trafficker in China, Edward Albert Sassoon, marries Aline Caroline de Rothschild, the grand-daughter of James Mayer Rothschild. Aline Caroline's father, Gustave, together with his brother, Alphonse, took over the Rothschild's French arm following their father Jacob's death.
